Your screenshot is showing the new textures. You have smooth lighting turned off however, which might be what you meant.

This is a feature of the crafting book, it means there is more than one way to craft magenta dye.

Just checked, can confirm that the Java texture is more recent.

According to the Minecraft Wiki Bedrock is using the texture from Snapshot 20w09a which updated all of the pickaxe textures like the bug post says, while the current Java texture is from Snapshot 20w10a, making it the more recent texture.

I will extract the jars to see if the Wiki is accurate.

This should be reversed, Java has the updated texture, Bedrock does not.

Which resource pack is this, it may help with testing, and also I really like it.

I had this happen too, but it was at a completely random V-sync toggle. I don't know how to further test this.
