that might be a reasonable thought, but my render distance is 11 and im throwing it less than 80 blocks into a pit filled with mobs.
this was noticed BEFORE i entered the end/used an end portal. I noticed it specifically when i was exploring a woodland mansion.
change it to 1.7.9
