Same problem on an Xbox One. Single player isn't terrible, but as soon as a second player joins it's unplayable

I have been currently been getting this issue a lot and had a trick to fix it, but now the trick isn't working. Is there a permanent fix to this? I can't uninstall and reinstall due to this issue. Very frustrating as I play with my kids, and now I can't.

I just found that this is being caused by my controller being flakey and sending erratic keystrokes. How do I cancel this report?

I have this (or a similar issue) with latest PS4 version. There are no chests at the map cross.  Even digging 30 down and 20 across.  Tried 4 maps, all the same.  I did update from a world generated from the previous release of minecraft on PS4.   I only play survival mode, in single user (not public). 

Presumably its the same bug?

I have the same issue. I installed on PS4 from DVD about 6 weeks ago and generated a survival world (I only play survival) A few weeks later, the aquatic update arrived. After weeks of searching, I have now found 4 treasure maps, 3 from ships and 1 from ruins. In each case, I have dug out a HUGE crater (at least 20 wide and 40 deep), going far down past sand into the rock (granite), and found nothing.  I have built stone walls around an entire island, and excavated the entire island, and no treasure chest.  I am bitterly disappointed that no treasure chests exist in the game.  I have wasted considerable time on it too.  This bug also means its impossible to get the heart of the sea.  Note, this is a private world.

Fixed - The solution was to manually update the lintel 4000 graphics drivers, even though the game is using the nvidia card, and windows updates are up to date.

Sorry, I had no idea there was no official technical support. So one can buy the game, then never be able to play it if the volenters/community cant fix, but majang still pockets the money. I am surprised this is allowed.

I tried that tool - there is no way to type or enter text. Its bewildering, and I have been using internet since the days of 1200 baud modems. I presume one has to create an account for it, but there are no links to do this or help. This is possibly the worst tool for support I have ever seen.

Where is the technical support ticketing system?

How does one open a support case, not just chat on IRC (Which I have not yet managed to do)

Please note, I contacted support via the link you provided (https://help.mojang.com/customer/portal/emails/new ), and got a replay back saying they dont offer support with game issues, only billing.
So unfortunately, I have yet to find out how to contact your technical support except via this jira system.

I notice that the error output shows "Windows 10 (amd64) version 10.0.
this laptop is running the intel i7, NOT amd.
I dont know if this has any bearing on the issue.

Screen shot showing the minecraft java running on the dedicated graphics (not the intel one). Everything is set to turn on dedicated graphics AND the minecraft javaw was also manually added on the dedicated graphics to make sure.

@Mustek. Sadyly, the Javaw is forced on the Nvidia card, thats the first thing I did. I am also running in the mode which puts everything on nvidia card. I will attach the screen shots which show this.

The fact that the game wont run, despite following ALL the publish troubleshooting steps, is a bug, no?

Technical support is useless. There is no ticketing system (other than this jira), now way to talk to a support person, no way to see status of the issue. You can only send an email then wait, wait wait. The reason people have to use jira is out of frustration about the lack of support or support tools.
