what exactly is the bug here? it's just placing at the same position that it normally does when you place it on the side of a block.

"where are we now" is the other name for the music disc "wait". please dont use the bug tracker to ask questions that aren't bugs

armor having a weaker enchantment glint was listed in the 23w04a changelog, so that part of the report is wai and should be removed. trident doesnt appear to be an announced change, so that part may be a bug.

not a bug, this is just how enchanting works. sometimes you get more than one enchantment on an item when enchanting through a table.

...what exactly is the bug here? different sides of blocks not perfectly lining up is just how textures work

bug tracker doesn't accept reports for outdated versions... this issue was fixed several updates ago

cherry capes are, in fact, available to some java users (i have one and only recently got it), they just haven't rolled out to everyone yet
