The Bug:
Hotbar selection resets to the far left when exiting the end.
Steps to Reproduce:
Enter the end and kill the ender dragon.
Place an item in any hotbar slot except the one on the far left.
Begin holding the said item in your main hand and enter the exit portal.
Take note as to whether or not hotbar selection resets to the far left when exiting the end.
Observed Behavior:
Hotbar selection resets to the far left.
Expected Behavior:
Hotbar selection would not reset to the far left and instead maintain its selected slot upon exiting the end.

I would assume this would be because leaving the end is similar to respawning. You get sent back to your spawnpoint as well just like after you die.
