The Bug
The back part of enchanted swords, bows, crossbows, shears, fishing rods, carrots on sticks, warped fungi on sticks, flint and steel, potions, splash potions and lingering potions goes wild (z-fighting). Here is a video demonstrating the bug: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=n26kS3Xcwcg
Steps to Reproduce
Obtain any of the above items, for example, an enchanted sword.
/give @s minecraft:wooden_sword[minecraft:enchantments={levels:{"minecraft:unbreaking":1}}]
Hold the enchanted item in your hand and switch into third person. (Hit F5 twice).
Look closely at the item held in your hand.
Take note as to whether or not z-fighting can be seen on a variety of enchanted items.
Observed Behavior
Z-fighting can be seen on a variety of enchanted items.
Expected Behavior
Z-fighting would not be able to be seen on all enchanted items.

This comment is here to notify the mods to reopen this issue as I am able to reproduce this on both the vanilla and the Better than Default resource packs. Screenshot attached, also ZEnderMan333 's video shows the issue quite well. It also affects crossbows.
Can confirm in 23w04a. And to elaborate on the issue: z-fighting occurs on enchanted items yes, however it specifically appears between pixels on an item texture. This is why the z-fighting appears on the guards of swords, since the place between the sword's guard and blade has pixels on both sides which causes the issue.
