[MC-221560] Copper/Coal Ore in Deepslate Patches aren't Deepslate Ores

The bug

From y0-y16, deepslate can spawn in patches. When copper ore spawns in these patches, it spawns as a normal variant, not as a deepslate variant.

In Bedrock Edition, coal and copper ore will generate as their deepslate variants in these blobs. So it's also a parity issue.

Likely affects emeralds too. Can easily be tested in a custom world by making a world with deepslate instead of stone.

Note that emeralds can only replace stone, and not things like deepslate, granite, andesite, etc, like the other ores. Likely worth its own ticket if it doesn't have one already

Emerald ore doesn't generate deep enough where you'd find the deepslate blobs or layers. If that does get fixed it'd be for consistency's sake.

In minecraft java edition and bedrock edition beta copper ore, coal ore, emerald ore deepslate version not natural spawn. Maybe in future snapshots, deepslate coal, copper, emerald ore versions will naturally appear 🙂

In 21w15a, emerald ore spawning altogether is bugged out. So that part of the bug is blocked atm.

Deepslate coal, copper and emerald were supposed not to generate in vanilla worlds.

They're specifically coded to not replace deepslate with deepslate variant, while other ores are coded to do that. Check vanilla worldgen files.

That's because they weren't intended to generate near deepslate. However, with the delay of the new world generation, the ores were re-redistributed to 1.16 generation

As of the reverted world height and ore generation, emerald ore should also sometimes spawn in the deepslate blobs as well as copper and coal, and all three seems not to be fixed in 20w16a
