Solution:
The AMD Catalyst 14.1 beta driver (like many beta drivers) cause issues with the Minecraft Client.
You can:
a) Upgrade your drivers to the newest Beta release, which is 14.2: AMD Catalyst™ 14.2 Beta V1.3 Driver (Not Recommended)
b) Downgrade to the latest stable drivers, which is 13.12: Driver search for your system (Recommended)
If you don't have the Beta drivers:
You are probably experiencing MC-35881 if you don't have the Beta drivers installed. More instructions on that issue post.
Blocks appear invisible after GPU update. Cant play.
Apparently its resolved... Its not.. This is in 14.1 not 13.whatever.
Not just some things are invisable.. Everything is apart from the sky...

Not a duplicate of MC-35881, but related.

With all due respect, yes, catalyst 14.1 is a beta, half the effort is reporting the issue so that many others don't fall into the same issue. catalyst 14.1 is a good step towards not to worry ever about frame rates. I'm not bothered by being of assistance instead of going back to the old driver and just letting it fix itself. Progress is key here. Instead of rambling on, it would be great if communication was being made between vastly more knowledgeable people. I don't know if you guys and AMD are working together on the subject. But, the general population of the people that play minecraft could only tell the basics instead of what makes the issue tick. All we can do is fiddle with switches and don't have a clue about the wiring.
off the subject, I have been around sense MC beta and am looking forward towards 1.8. 🙂

someone has found a temporary fix to the issue.
only use if willing to cause issues if they do arise.

There are 2 .DLLs that can't read the code.
Maybe there are better than the one on that forum?
Maybe there is a different fix with better results?

Even better solution: Unistall Beta 14.1, install 13.12

The new graphics driver version fixes this issue. More info: http://support.amd.com/en-us/kb-articles/Pages/latest-catalyst-windows-beta.aspx

Thank you so much for helping me! I'm just going to downgrade drivers.
It is resolved because the issue is with your graphics card's drivers, not Minecraft.
