Apple TV Edition version - Better Together Update

I have downloaded Minecraft Apple TV Edition and I did not get the "Better Together" Update. I got v1.1.5. Cannot play with my friends and cannot connect to realms.

Is this a bug or did Apple TV not receive the update? If so, when will it come out?

Update on this issue:

Effective Monday September 24th, the Apple TV version of Minecraft will no longer be updated or supported. We’re grateful to the Apple TV community for their support but we need to reallocate resources to the platforms that our players use the most. Don’t worry though, you can continue to play Minecraft on Apple TV, keep building in your world and your Marketplace purchases (including Minecoins) will continue to be available.

However, we know that this experience isn’t in-line with the experience on other platforms so we will be issuing full refunds on all purchases made within the last 90 days. For more information or to check on the status of your refund, please contact Apple Customer Service at https://getsupport.apple.com or 1-800-692-7753.

Ok. I guess I have no choice but to wait. If I only knew that I was not buying the v1.2 I wouldn't have done it...

Anyone knows when this update is coming to Apple TV?

@Robert L McCrory Thanks for the link.

What I mean is the players can discuss the cancellation of Apple TV Edition and express their opinions on the reddit.

Finally. But disappointed.

I purchased this app as part of a Apple TV controller 9 months ago as a Christmas gift for 2 children to play together on iPad and Apple TV. I've followed for months waiting for a chance for the family to play together. We had a realms world that we have been waiting to play together.

I'm Disappointed. My Children are disappointed.

After getting Apple's support to launch the Apple TV edition. Mojang should have updated the description of the Apple TV Edition months ago to state clearly it is not compatible to play multiplayer with other versions.

90 Days is generous compared to other app refunds, but its been months we've had this disconnect and incompatibility of a game designed to play together.
The day before Minecraft world is a great day to finally make a statement of the neglect of the platform. But stating this last November before the Christmas gift would've been helpful, honest, and fair.

I've now discontinued realms on our IOS Devices. We play on JAVA on our Macs but mostly on LAN. If I want to play remotely, I will probably choose a non-realms server in the future.

Dear Reader,

It has been a while now since the ATV version of Minecraft has been declared discontinued. I realize that it must have been a large cost issue in regard to few or little revenue the version has brought, and thus the version had to be shut down. A decision which is fair and which I respect, despite being disappointed about not being able to play on the Apple TV anymore.

Though as an achievement hunter I always want to get the maximum out of games. I've helped plenty of other gamers on xbox one and xbox 360 by creating gaming sessions on Trueachievements and opening my world which I specifically created for the sake of helping others earn achievements (Sort by game, page 13-20) https://www.trueachievements.com/gamerfeedback.aspx?gamerid=311477
Moreover, I have created and optimized worlds for the better together versions of Minecraft from as early as I can remember, helping countless amount of gamers enjoying the game and earning their achievements in an easy way; here's just one of many guides: https://www.trueachievements.com/game/Minecraft-Windows-10/walkthrough . Minecraft has become more than just "a game" for me.  I have played all the different versions of the game and unlocked all the achievements in there (Xbox 360, xbox one, xbox one better together, Ios, Android, WIndows 10, Windows Phone, Gear Vr, Ninendo Switch, along with the xbox 360, xbox one and windows 10 versions of Minecraft story mode season 1 and 2). All with the exception of one version: Apple TV.

Back when it released a couple achievements were host only, and so I could not easily reearn them easily by hosting the worlds I created earlier.
Body Guard, Inception, Artificial selection, Diamonds to you, beam me up and great view from up here were host only. We created a new world and managed to get a set up for 5 out of the 6 achievements. He popped 5, I popped 4, and the game was put on the shelve to finish off some other time, as getting great view from up here can take a while as you might know (opening end portal, defeating dragon, then in end city go for it, not to mention food, weapons, etc. needed). Not much later, Great view from up here became discontinued as well as Inception (which I still needed but my buddy popped) and Artificial selection (which I had luckily popped already). I believe this is around update 1.1.0.55. Until the latest update for Minecraft Apple TV, (1.1.5) these achievements were unobtainable. They didn't get fixed until the better together update came out (around 22 September 2017). ATV didn't get an update after August 7th.

Now I know support has stopped for ATV and no new versions will be released. My request is to get a game file for ATV in an update PRIOR to 1.1.0.55, so that I can go for my last achievement, and pop the inception one which I already have set up again, I just need to flick the levers. Along with that, a way to stop auto updating, cause AFAIK the ATV always updated instantly. Is there a way you guys can share a game file, for example the launch file? It would mean a lot to me, and I'm sure also to a good bunch of other users on Trueachievements as well as other achievement hunters not present on site. It would be terrible to always be 2 achievements away from a full completion in Minecraft games (currently 1251 achievements already!!).

Thanks for taking the time to read this,
Thanks in advance,
