Water surrounded by non full blocks will make their back sides invisible

Update by myself:
Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Place a top slab floating in the air;

  2. Surround it with top slabs so the water doesn't flow sideways;

  3. Waterlog it and let it flow downwards.

Observed Results:
By looking at the waterlogged slab, it can be observed that the back sides of the water are invisible, which is inconsistent with the water that's directly beneath it.

Expected Results:
The water texture is displayed on all sides when it's surrounded by non full blocks.

Screenshots/Videos attached: Yes

Notes:

Original Description:

When I put water on an upside slab, it shows the water properly from the outside, but looking from the inside, the it doesn't show the water on the slab.

If I haven't explained very well, just look at the images and you'll know what I'm talking about.

Have you also had issues where the bottom of a lower slab with water on it shows the water on the bottom of it's self? Sorry if I didn't explain that right. I have no screen shots sorry.

@Joshua yes I had. They also keep blinling, right?

Yes. BTW I'm the only one who's commented so far lol I understand.

Oh BTW could you help me a bit more with that file I was talking about?

Sure

If I understand the report description properly, what was reported here is that the bottom side of a waterlogged top slab looks the same as the bottom side of a not-waterlogged top slab. That's actually what I would expect: the water should be filling the space, so there should not be a visible water surface just under the bottom of the top slab.

If I am understanding that correctly, then I think Amphy2k's comments and screenshots are describing a different issue.

Wow, such an old ticket of mine. Look how much I've grown (I am able to write readable reports now!)

What Amphy is describing is exactly what this ticket is about. I should probably edit my ticket to word it better.
