Randomly, and quite frequently, Minecraft for Windows 10 encounters an issue with dropping a decent amount of frames, (Down to around 30 fps from a top 75 fps on my machine). I have tested this on various chunk render distances, and still have gotten the same effect.
The machine this occurs on has these specs:
Windows 10 October 2018 Update
Game installed on an M.2 Nvme SSD
AMD Ryzen 7 2700x
8GB DDR4 RAM
Nvidia GTX 1660 Ti (Previously had a 1050 Ti, and it occurred on that as well)

After some more testing I'd say it is not on the loading of chunks, but saving of them. Cannot turn off auto save on Win10 so cannot really test/confirm it's that.
I am pretty much experiencing this on a lower end computer. Strangely, this is the 3rd one I came across. I do hope they look into this further and possibly fix it. As I would continue to play it more often. Also some enchanted items/shulker boxes lag when you open your inventory or other gui's. That was fixed in 1.11.0.8 beta if my memory serves me.
Having problems with flying around or tping to people, either very laggy or will straight up crash the game. Pc specs are a 8th gen i5, Gtx 980Ti 6gb vram, 16gb ddr4 ram, 500gb ssd. The game was perfectly playable before this update and that seems to be the case every time a new update comes out, they fix it later on then to get messed up again by another update.
If a moderator or a developer is reading this, we dont care how long it takes to produce these updates, we just want them to be good and bug free. this is probably the most infested update so far.
Thank you for your report!
Crashes such as these are logged automatically, and will be looked into further by the development team.

Experiencing same issue. This report might be the same as MCPE-43441.
I'm also experiencing "general lag" since 1.10. Up to this update the game has always run smooth like butter on my hardware (i5 7th gen, GTX 1050Ti, Win10).
Note that this is different lag than that caused by the inventory/crafting book, which is present since ~1.7 and got way worse in 1.10 (MCPE-27167 or MCPE-41772).
The best description of this lag is 'chunkloading'; it's mostly noticed on world startup and moving around. Where previously the chunks would load smoothly, now the game seems to struggle more with them and lag is caused. Also asking more of the CPU.
For some reason the bug doesn't seem to affect flat worlds. Flying over normal terrain causes the occasional yet frequent jitter. I'm unable to tell if a specific kind of terrain (dessert, ocean, plains, hills) or the presence of structures (villages, ocean monuments) has any effect on the lag experienced.
