Every time I'm going to kill some cow for leather I see some different animal going into corner of fence I think it a glitch.

I'm having this issue as well, as you can see from my picture, all my animals are doing it, though mostly the pigs, sheep, and cows. The chickens do also do it some too though. I also have animals gravitating to doors around my house/barn areas, horses wanting to stick to their barn doors.

Have the same issue with my cow pen in 1.14.21 BDS. They always end up in one specific corner in a clump.
Bring them out with wheat and within a short time they end up back in the corner.

I had 28 iron golems in 25x25 in survival. They also ended up in the corner.

There is a tendency for wandering, and probably all block target selection, to favor the north (-Z) and west (-X), which is a large part of this bug. Note that the video attached to this ticket shows mobs in a NW corners, and the first picture shows the mobs in separate pens all going in the same direction, which is most likely NW.
If you’re seeing the NW bias in your animal pens, please also vote for MCPE-41092.

It seems that when this happens with villagers during the workday it can cause extreme lag because the villagers constantly try to recalculate paths to their workstations. (See REALMS-3089) Animals just keep trying to reach the same spot due to MCPE-49607, and that isn't nearly as demanding on the CPU as calculating new paths.

This really needs some fixing. Tango Tek's Decked Out minigame is really suffering because of this bug. Ravagers are yet another mob that have that tendency of moving in -X and Z. I've had cow farms too doing this.---

I don´t know why, but for me it seems to happen with cows almost exclusively. The other animals are usually fine.

This happens with every type of animal. Please fix this bug soon it’s been in the game for too long.

Resolving as Fixed based on testing 12 sheep in a 12 x 12 pen in the current release, and also more extensive testing of MCPE-41092 which was the cause of this issue. Animals in a small pen can still clump in corners for a few seconds at a time, but they no longer all drift toward the same corner over time.
