I cant insert mob skin packs since I do not like being an player but being an mob that it seems to affect only higher version but since I don't like having an always player skin it seems like I want a skin that is interesting mob skin pack was used to be my favorite but it seems to not work on today's version I was sad because of how I like it I played and be an mob in version 1.5.3 and 1.6.1 after that its gone 😞 it wont work it showed me blank skin when it said complete imported it wont work I wish 4D come back cause being an player is boring to me as always or sometimes its only work on 1.2.0 or little higher 😞 please bring it back I wish it alot I dont want to look at an fake villager skin like short head villager skin arms not connected too I want an villager skin or an wolf even fox skin I dont want fake stuff please make minecraft import 4D skin pack. or it could be limited usage like wont work in big server ex.mineplex if you go into that big server you will be steve skin or (alex)?? it wont work on big server but only works on friends and single player I guess that icon give me an clue of editing this 🙂.

Works as intended. They'll always block every single way to exploit the game, these extra geometry models are OP and unintended.
This is working as intended. Extra geometry models are OP and are unintended like what@LateLag said. Someday they plan to have this come back but more balanced. If you find any ways for this to become possible please report it on the bug tracker.
It's an exploit because it gets patched straight away. Like for example, you have a 4d skin that renders as a block, which is considered cheating on servers because you can hide from players, which it is unfair.
(Please read all of it) I kinda dont like how I feel cause I hate using humanoid skin command blocks cant be used to transform me and command blocks have latency I wish I was an mob but hmm did you notice when you open the icon in the title screen you see your skin under there is that button when you click it sometimes it will tell you that there was an limited usage like that give them an limited usage message and make it said that it can only be used in joining friends and joining your own world but not the public server when you join on an server or big minecraft server you are displayed as steve as usually. I seem that this can be an great way since I am making an video using mob skin pack so I wish you can do it developer. 🙂 🙂

Cant believe this was marked as working as intended. Its not! It even broke the skeleton in the first birthday skin pack!
This has been used by exploits (MCPE-37343), as @unknown, @unknown and @unknown said, these include potential of bad actors camouflaging as a block and even very large model (larger than size accepted by average players). But as I found out preventing this from being usable besides Marketplace Partners is infuriating, voting this feedback from Minecraft Feedback for our fix is welcome (I've voted that Feedback too btw).
Please do not mark unreleased versions as affected.
