Skeletons’ rate of fire is too high

Compared to Java, skeletons shoot at an very fast rate which is often too fast for the player to react.

I can't officially respond to this, but I would suggest sending this as feedback, rather than reporting it as a bug. (Unless, of course, it happens to be a bug.)

I would highly recommend attaching a video of skeletons shooting super fast as without it there isn’t any indication to what extent or even what may be causing the bug.

I personally have never seen skeletons shooting faster then they should be so I can’t vouce for this, a video is definitely a good idea.

I can confirm that on the newest versions, skeletons, strays, and pillagers appear to be able to shoot at a speed faster than the player. Not sure what is causing it, but definitely needs adjusting as this was a change likely made unintentionally. Drowned with Tridents also sometimes appear to be shooting fairly fast for an item that requiest additional draw time.

There is absolutely no way that a pillager with a regular crossbow should be about to out-shoot a player with a regular bow. The draw time on crossbows is supposed to be slower than draw times on bows. Definitely sounds like a bug.

Experienced on Bedrock realm on Android 8.1 LG Q6 current version 1.14.1

I can't attach a video file, but I can confirm that often I'm unable to even get close to them sometimes because of knockback from the arrows.

Nintendo Switch, 9.1.0

Can support this, the knockback of the arrows and the firing speed are much to fast to dodge effectively and get close properly.  It doesn't seem to affect pillagers as far I can tell how ever.

The bogged is bugged in Bedrock (MCPE-178882) so the different interval does not work. However, the coding for it sets the attack interval to a flat 3.5 s regardless of distance.

Skeletons and Strays minimal interval should be "2" instead of "1" because in Java, skeletons have only minimal interval (Normal and Hard only) of "2 seconds"

I want to add that in the post for version 1.21 for Bedrock, Minecraft says that the Bogged's attack will have a cooldown of 3.5 which is true, compared to the 2.0 seconds that the skeleton has, but looking at the creators files the minimum cooldown is 1.0 seconds. That change would be a huge relief for the early game.
