The hand moves too much in Bedrock compared to Java

THIS IS NOT ALREADY BEING TRACKED. READ THE DESCRIPTION FIRST.

So the hand moves roughly the same amount for both Bedrock and Java but the difference is Java has a "scale" for how much it moves whereas on Bedrock your hand moves the maximum amount no matter how slowly you turn your head. (First person perspective)

To recreate if you dont understand

-Open Bedrock in first person mode

-Open Java in first person mode

-Move your head very slowly in Bedrock and take note of how much your hand moves

-Now do the same in Java and notice how little the movements are

-Now in Bedrock move your head relatively fast and take note of the amount your hand moves

-Now do the same in Java and you will notice it is about the same

Therefore Java is scaled whereas Bedrock has a set amount of how far the hand moves

I like how you say "Open Java and open bedrock" assuming we own both versions and having money

This has already been resolved

No it hasn't this is another issue

You can't report bugs based on parity issues between Minecraft and Java edition. I can prove that if you look at one of my bug reports. However, given if it is controversial enough it will not be closed as an invalid bug report. Besides, there's nothing wrong with how View-Bobbing works. If you don't like it you may disable it in settings.

Affects 1.16.40, would love to see fixed!

If this is not intended or is going to be changed, please make it either a bit less intense but more intense than on Java, so it's more noticeable, or just add slider in accessibility settings which scales from 0% to 100%, obviously the lowest value is no movement at all and highest is the one that is currently used, so that way everyone will be able to adjust hand sway to their preference separately from view bobbing option, so everyone can be happy.

There is nothing wrong with hand sway on Bedrock, it’s perfect, on Java it has lazy implementation which wasn’t changed ever since it was added in beta 1.8, it doesn’t have interpolation and instead of trying to actually make it look smooth and nice they just changed intensity to 0.1F, while on Bedrock developers kept intensity 1.0F, which means that its movement is synced with the camera movement, added interpolation and clamping, and it looks beautiful.

Thank you for your report!
After consideration, the issue is being closed as Won't Fix.

Please note that this is not the same as Working as Intended, as this bug report correctly describes behavior in the game that might not be the intended or desirable behavior, but it will not be fixed right now. Sometimes, this is because the issue reported is minor and/or impossible to change without large architectural changes to the code base.
