This is a "pick your poison" scenario for the translators at Crowdin.
The string for the "Sign" button in 1.12 uses the same translation for the "Sign" item and block in 1.13, which forces the translators to either have a mistranslated button in 1.12 or a mistranslated item and block in 1.13.
See the attached diagram which depicts the relationship between the messages for clarification.

Moved to WEB as this is not an issue in the game, it is an issue with how crowdin is ordered.

Still invalid because Mojang cannot do anything about it.
The issue happens while splitting the language files for 1.12 / 1.13 and can be fixed at crowdin by overwriting the wrong sign translation by the right one - several translations did fix this already.
This can only be done by the proofreaders at Crowdin since the translators cannot see the "dupliicated" strings in 1.13.
This doesn't only affect "Sign",also
item.minecraft.clay_ball (uses block.minecraft.clay)
book.signButton (uses block.minecraft.sign)
block.minecraft.end_portal (uses tile.endPortalFrame.name)

If you need that fixed for certain languages, please contact the proofreader for that language or me: https://crowdin.com/profile/Kumasasa

@Kumasasa I am the proofreader for my language, so I have access to them. After reading your reply and following your instructions, I finally managed to solve the problem. I simply didn't know you could overwrite grey/hidden strings that are inherited from other files. Thanks a lot! 😃

Meh.
