this happend to my farmer villager yester but i found some more details for this bug. the farmer villager was locked in a wheat farm deep in my base far away from any other village.
the server had been on the whole day, he was still alone half an hour before i found him with his clone, the server did not restart in this time.
today i put the server on and go to check on my now 2 villager to find only 1 again. the duplicated villager somehow was removed again on server startup, i am 100% certain no zombies could get to it.
the trades where identical, it was possible to trade with it and having different trades locked out than the first villager, it is not a ghost villager
i just did some more testing and found out that it is only on happening on a mulitplayer server, it seems that normal walking in multiplayer uses as many hunger as sprint/jumping in single
i just did the identical tour on a single player copy of the same map in snapshot 13w36a starting with only half a hunger depleated and i didn't lose any more hunger points at all. i also noticed that in 13w37b my hunger depleats even while completly standing still witch makes afking now deadly.
i noticed this also and its not because of being healed, i stood afk for a few minutes at a safe location with a full health bar and when i came back i lost half of my hunger, normaly standing still doesn't take hunger at all
i agree that the enderman are far too loud, when i play normaly int my world everything is all fine but when i go to my enderman farm its like my ears are going to blow off

crafting seems to be completly impossible in multiplayer.
bug persists both on newly made servers as well as old ones that get updated
