Keeps happening and I get Alex and 2 Kais. BUT MC is always logged out of xbox as well. Logging in changes nothing BUT logging in, restarting mincraft has left me with 1 Kai (even though I deleted those 3 mentioned) and the most recent other character I created. Might be to do with this.
I'm getting this. Happens immediately.
1) I was able to jump off the end island and walk on the void floor taking no damage.
2) Relogged - was in same position as initial login.
3) Switched to server-auth and died
4) Switched back to client-auth to test - ran away from zombie at spawn and he damages me even though I am not there, again, as if I'm not actually moved.
Affects 1.19.4 prerelease 3. The game stops updating, and you can fall out of the world forever. When you try to close the world it just stays in saving world screen making you have to force quit the game.

needs to be reopened as a 22w17a bug that is effecting everybody.
Hey thanks MINABEAN, it worked! I can open that world again for now. I guess I'll have to keep this fix in mind until they fix the bug.
I deleted "session lock" and still crashes before opening.
The Allay is what crashed my game and I can't reopen the world.Still affects 22W16B

Thank you for your response! I did search for the issue and found no mention of it. I suppose because I was using the word shadows and not lighting. Thanks again! I will follow that ticket and vote there.
Exact same issue on Mac OS version 10.11.6. Started about a week ago, have tried reinstalling but does not resolve.

As usual hopper minecarts are disappearing, usually when there are parallel runs for item pickups. Wish they would fix it.

MCPE-55405 for message "You must be connected to wifi to play with your friends" when attempting to connect to an external server but connected to cellular data / LTE. MCPE-55405 is marked as resolved, but it is not. MCPE-55405 refers to this ticket, and some of the previous comments in this ticket seem to be more related to MCPE-55405.
Cant connect to external internet server when on cell data on windows 10 edition latest (1.16.201). marketplace and other in-game internet connections work fine.
Same problem. Had a horse freeze mid jump. Its legs kept kicking forever.
I can confirm this issue on PS4, PC and Android 15. As OP reported, it seems to affect newly created worlds. Older Star Wars mashup worlds still seem to work.
