This was in early beta. It has since been corrected either directly or indirectly. They were all small mushrooms, some from caving and some from the nether. And they would not stack even if you drag and drop them. But now they do.
I had a laggy section of my map and went caving to investigate. I found a cave section with so many mobs I almost crashed the game trying to kill them. Mobs are not despawning when the player gets far enough away. I have been back to sections of my map several hundred blocks away to find mobs still there from the night I loaded the chunks.
Its not so much that the chunks are unloading as it is the game ticks stopping when the player is 64 blocks away. everything only works within 4 chunks of the player even if the render distance is 16.
I saw this 3 times today in my 1.2.3 world, also on win10. all 3 times were in deserts, only once was in newly generated chucks.
I've noticed in this version mobs spawn on everything except bottom slabs even glass and carpet.
1.2.2 Win 10, crops, grass and sugarcane still effected
Lorin, they make noises of mobs within like 24 blocks of them in all directions so it could be a cave nearby.
but yes it happens whenever the chunk unloads and reloads.
Confirmed in 1.2.1
I posted a similar issue the other day MCPE-25960
My shovel is diamond Efficiency IV and sand and gravel are also affected
With the pick Magma blocks are also affected
I found another issue post for a similar bug MCPE-25776
I guess I missed this in my search.
I have the same issue on my Android tablet. Head will move if I hold left mouse button while moving mouse.
Sugarcane has always taken a long time to grow in PE and Win10, but you can bonemeal in this version. My sugarcane is growing normally in 1.2.0.18
No we were in normal. I had a map open in Win10 and my son was on his tablet. he takes damage from mobs normally and regens normally but never looses hunger.
confirmed Win 10 1.2.8
entered both ocean monument and woodland mansion with map in hand no achievement.
