This goes for the 3 dimensions: Overworld, Nether and End.

I found a texture pack that solves the bow/crossbow problem.

it may be 

in the paper doll on the upper left side the bow appears normally but in the character’s hand not even the shadow

In the previous version when the bow was appearing there was an error in the arrow that it did not render in the nether then I think that when they corrected this bug the bow and the beast stop being rendered

I think I found the problem

in my opinion we can create some resource to correct this because it is not known when they will correct this error

Apparently they just messed up a few things with rendering
