I guess you could make additional settings for this, allowing the player to select what time for the world to start at.
I'm still having this issue. Confirmed I have updated, and that the realm has been updated. Have also tried leaving and getting reinvited to no avail.
the final version of the week's snapshot will be only shown (e.g 14w34b will not get shown due to 14w34d)
You've confirmed that they should not be opaque, yet this was marked as resolved?
Also did you just restart Minecraft or did you close the launcher as well?
