An earlier problem that was similar to this was created by a Logitech program. This is not the case in this one. I no longer have the Logitech program on my computer and this problem popped up a few days after I downloaded the new Minecraft for windows 10. This seems to be an on and off again problem with Minecraft not playing nicely with other things on the computer. 

I have a Logitech M510 mouse.

Seeing so many wireless mouse problems, I tried a wired mouse I had laying around and so far it is working fine. So, for now this is a temporary fix. 

Clearlty this has not been resolved. Great job Minecraft.

In my case, starting the game in normal difficulty I will have no problem with Enderman. He acts as he normally acts. Problems occur, and this is not the only problem, after having the game on peaceful for several Minecraft days. Mobs generate less in explored areas is another symptom. For Enderman, he will come up to you when you look at him too long as you are approaching. Or you may approach him and attack him and he'll skirt around you a couple of times and then teleport away. There is no caves or open areas underground for him to teleport to, although in when started in normal mode I have found him in open areas underground, if they exist. 

Some say with fire aspect he dies. No, he does not, there is no loot ever. This and other problems become worse after peaceful is used for several Minecraft days. 

This problem has been going on for more than a year. Can we expect any progress on this? This is why I dropped out of beta and your help pages, lack of progress and merging unlike tickets into one. Please take our reports seriously. 

If I chose to volunteer my time, how would I be able to debug such a problem? I think with my experience I could help. The only question is the amount of time I would volunteer. Is this possible?

Thank you. I have felt that we have been forgotten. I will wait patiently for 1.15 as you suggest because I do like playing this game with my nephews and nieces. It is a clean good game that we can all enjoy. I so really appreciate your response, Thank You!

 

I believe you are correct. Sadly, that post is almost 2 years old and nothing was done about it. It has now made it out into production. Bug reports on BETA are for them to test out a product beforehand and to work out the bugs so us, the customers, will have a good gaming experience. As far as I see this post is different enough considering this is now in production and has been passed from beta. I have started to complain to Xbox and will escalate this to Microsoft since we are not getting any feedback. I dropped out of beta since they do not seem to respect giving us feedback on the progress of the bug reports. I never let my users out in the wind like this. Part of IT is always updating and giving feedback to the users that are testing a program. If this respect and quality of customer service cannot be given, I have no problem in escalating this issue. 

Maybe if something was done about this it would not be discussed. Considering I worked in IT for 20 + seeing that this bug made it into production and that nothing has been done on this in over 2 years it shows a lack of quality for a product we all paid for. There is no excuse for this kind of bug to be affecting us today. Also, since almost every post I find on this states they have plenty of memory, this appears to be a memory management issue in Minecraft code itself and not the user's computer. It would be nice if you took this problem seriously.  As a paying customer, I have no mercy that this is going out to the whole team. Someone should take care of it. This is a polite way to say get your asses in gear. 

I called Xbox, they were a bit more helpful and willing to put some time into this problem. There are a couple of things that were addressed that I would like to know if other people have similar circumstances. 

  1. I have one paid account and one account that has a trial license on the same computer. This ID is working off of the paid account. They said this should not cause the problem but I am wondering if it is. I flip flop back and forth between the two accounts and since this id has the trial license I am wondering if it corrupted the file.

  2. I was in beta and Mojang's lack of replies was discouraging and I dropped out. Could the beta somehow corrupted the file EVEN THOUGH I did not access it?

  3. They did not think that the RAM was the issue, we watched the task manager while I ran the game and it did not spike although it used most of RAM.
    Does anyone else fit this criteria?

 

At this point I want my money back. The lack of support and no attempt to find out more on this is beyond incompetence. 

Microsoft games used to be very stable programming. Obviously, here with Minecraft that is not true. I want to know how these people on youtube show very large and complex worlds and not hit the memory cap. How do they do it?

Where is the fix for this? Same issue and only one response in a month of waiting.

 UNFORTUNATELY, for us who are experiencing this, the only thing you can do is to start a new game. All your work in this file is on hold until they take this seriously. As a programmer, I suspect it is an easy fix of upping the memory cap but they will not do it. Considering everyone is near or close to 1 tb in memory size it appears they need a compact and repair feature like ACCESS has for their database.

I am really not liking how this is not being taken seriously. I spent a lot of time developing this world and paid you for a product that would work. Is anyone looking at this? I have attached a screen capture of the error your game is giving. I have no problem playing other games that are more resource intensive. 

In searching for this problem here I found posts that said to uninstall Minecraft and then import the game back in. I did this and no game ran for very long. Even new games would not run. This makes me believe that not only is it the size of the one game that is a problem but the sum of the sizes of all the games. 
This time I reinstalled minecraft but have not imported any game and she is running fine. I will import that larger file, 800 MB, and capture that error screen. 
The db folder in minecraftworlds folder is 829 MB

Wow, so what you are saying is that the game is set up to have the possibility of very limited resources while in others it can be too much. I'm not sure I buy this considering that the beta had a number of different features that do not conform with how games in production feel and act. It seems to me that the settings in beta were very different from production and needed to be tweaked and in some cases changed. I will do as you suggest.

The last time I had the chests reappear was after I went on a long hike. when i returned they were back. Minimizing for 10 seconds is far easier.

I have the same issue except I created the armor stand and then placed my armor on it. Not knowing the armor turned invisible upon putting it on the stand I thought I lost it. I was able to retrieve it off the stand as well. That was a relief. This invisibility issue is a huge problem in the game that is traveling through earlier versions to present. You never know what will be or is invisible, ie 

so far i found

enemies attacking with invisible weapons.
Shooting invisible arrows, 
chests turning invisible
and now, my armor disappearing (becoming invisible) when placed on the stand.

I did find posts regarding ppl using invisibility potion, I have used no potions. Just to be clear.

I am glad I checked here first. I thought they were all gone. They are invisible in beta version 1.1.4.0.1 also. How long does it take to fix a bug? I see this in earlier versions a/p this thread. First, time in beta, looking to see what i can expect.
