Or at least make it a setting maybe?

which means that setting the option to 2 would require you to press W once in two consecutive ticks (which just gets interpreted as holding W)

Wouldn’t it be useful though?

Diamond hoes do not have any of these issues, which is why this is a bug and not WAI.

Huh?! Why can’t they have different textures? Why in the world are you guys so upset about this? Clearly this isn’t a bug, it’s just things having different textures, which is also realistic, and pretty cool they’re doing this. In fact, maybe the darker texture is supposed to be soil on the handle?

If I changed the wall before I place the button, the button will just pop off right after I place it

Thanks for the quick feedback. And I see, that’s very unfortunately though. It feels the player will be unfairly punished for not knowing some detail about the game

Is this a bug though? Isn’t it a little bit more realistic that items aren’t sticking so much out of a shelf horizontally?

Hm, seems to only pop off sometimes. Try to place the button over a piece of wall. Say a Resin Brick Wall. Make sure two opposide sides are set to ‘low’, and the two other opposide sides are set to ‘none' and ‘up’ is set to ‘false’. (So, just a piece of wall without any corners or anything sticking up). The button will be floating a little over the wall. Then use the debug stick and set ‘up’ to ‘true’ and then click the button.

Would also be nice to be able to place buttons on walls in survival, but that’s definitely not a bug

Why is 3 expected? If you use 4, you can use redstone to figure out exactly which slots are empty or not, with 3, that’s not possible
