The latest beta version is 1.5.0.7. Does it affect that version also?
Actually, I was just messing around in creative mode and was trying to build a nether portal underwater and tried to remove water around it and found this glitch.
For the answer for your question: Yes, I was using sponge to remove water and I didnt't try to remove the sponge.
I posted this issue when minecraft's version was 1.2.5 and now it is 1.4.2 but it has not been fixed yet.
It is not a complete duplicate. In my case, mobs does not disappear when I go close to them.
This happens randomly when I break a block.
I don't know about mobs disappearing and items dropping after 2 minutes when mined. Actually, I didn't wait for that item to be dropped so I don't know.
I have copied the data files from the other world but the achievements weren't disabled and let the game to generate random seed.
Does reinstalling the game helps or I must contact Microsoft?
Sorry for the late reply.
My render distance was 6 chunks but that part in the picture should be shown in 6 chunks and when I increased the render distance to max I could see everything clear in the cave but I am pretty sure if a path in cave is straight the fog could be seen there also. In my case there were many turns in the cave so I am not 100% sure, and increasing the render distance also affects the fog in open place, for example: it is rainy and foggy and there are two building (one is little bit far than the other) and render distance 6 chunks, I can see 1 building and when I increase the render distance I can see both of them even in the fog.
This bug is also in the stable and the latest version of all bedrock edition (ie 1.10.0) running devices and one have to be careful at night time as the zombies just enter the house and kill the villagers and till the in-game morning the village will turn into a zombie village.
I have to go one by one to every house at night time and close the doors which is very annoying. Please fix this as soon as possible.
