This issue is still affecting players in 1.17.11, which means that this issue which has been around for 4 years is still affecting players, like me and him. Unfortunately, there is no way for anyone who can't view the code/ info in memory [pretty much everyone] to tell how it occurs. This is the most annoying and disappointing issue that I have had with Minecraft Bedrock edition as a whole. I also don't have a way to fix the issue anymore, since game and system resets are not working.
I heard of that bug a long time ago, and first got it just around a month ago. It seems to only occur on large servers. Small servers, like player worlds and just servers with low player counts don't seem to run into this issue.
Confirmed on PC 1.17.10
That actually seems pretty realistic. If you put a piece of glass in a tub of water, you can see through to the bottom, and light still shines through, even though its a bit dimmer.
But the whole sea floor lighting up, does not make sense.
This can be hidden by disabling Content Log GUI. I usually have it disabled because when it shows multiple errors really fast, it can crash my computer. Yes, welcome to 2009 integrated graphics.
Can also work if you are in creative. I don't know what causes it, just that it has annoyed me for a while.
At 6 chunks and minimum settings my CPU can get up to 100% usage, because I am stuck on the Core 2 Duo E8400. Edit: I also have 4gb ram with GMA 4500 graphics.
There is no way that this is resolved. I have had this issue since before 1.14 I think. I also can't delete and reinstall due to how my system is set up.
Same issue, except on Android. Also has the error code pufferfish.
Does not occur in current versions (1.19+)
