nvm it's working now, don't know what i did, but it works now!

Actually I can't. My computer crashed trying to run Minecraft and OBS at the same time.

This is essentially the same error that causes chunk-bans on 2B2T. (Note: chunk-bans are different than MC-117075 because they occur while loading chunks.) Furnaces are technically storage blocks and thus require more memory than regular blocks. Minecraft cannot handle writing all of this memory to the disk and times out, giving a memory overload error. It is impossible to work around or prevent this error, since block entities inherently require more RAM than any other block.

For some reason when I use an addon created before 1.17 it works, but when i added a custom item to that addon everything except that item I just added works. The texture is missing (even though I pathed it correctly), the name is item.jrs:emerald_sword.name instead of emerald Sword (yes, I went into the en_US.lang file and changed it to item.jrs:emerald_sword.name=Emerald Sword), and the sword doesn't keep the durability or the damage that i set (5000 durability, 10 damage), instead having unlimited durability and doing the same amount of damage as fists.

Also, addons created before 1.17 work fine.

Confurmed, you guys broke fire, lol XD

Confirmed I think, since I'm having FPS drops when I look in the direction of horses.

I've seen the new zombie spawning code spawn the zombies way up in the air (which isn't supposed to happen), so I guess you're seeing those who survived the mid-air plunge.

I can sort of reproduce.

If I make a one block hole and put a zombie in it and hit it, it'll jump around trying to get out, but it stops after a moment or two, forgets you as a target, and then walks out.

Try this, make a 3x3 hole, make a zombie, punch it, then go one block up, it'll have trouble getting up onto the block you are on, but place another block and it can go up one block just fine.

Were you near a spot where the light glitched to black? Because I had one spawn in the glitched shadow on the church/tower which promptly exploded. I never even saw it.

That's pretty close to out of nowhere, was with 1.5 I believe, maybe 1.5.1. Other than this fluke occurence, I haven't seen anything like the OP reported

Also, are you sure they aren't coming from small spots that you forgot to light up completely? Since they'll path to you now, they're coming from somewhere.

It's sprites and I believe this is an existing issue.

They did, or at least tried to make them less common. I think they were trying to get rid of the small pools of water which are often in the side of a dune.

Confirmed in 12w17a with boats.

Happening in large numbers with the 13w17a snapshot.

It's supposed to be intentional, but it IS annoying and unless you have a rope/leash, you can't ride them back out of the water.

Confirmed with riding a horse.

Just updating this so that people who might report this issue have a possibility of seeing this one.

(the version affected should be updated as well)

Confirmed, I had one graze on soul/slow sand, eew.

It's also been reported that they graze underwater.

Oh, I thought it might have counted as a separate bug, sorry.

Confirmed, I guess it's understandable as things are still in development.
