I just realized something- I think the world was either created in the previous snapshot or the version files were corrupt as I had to download 16w05b in the launcher. When i get home, I'll re-test.

I could not attach a video as it was too large, I will attempt to upload to Youtube when I get home. I confirmed it was in 16w05b twice before posting.

The visual glitching was fixed for me by using Fancy graphics (ew, but I use a texture pack with very little leaf transparency to make it not so horrible). Yes, it's laggier, but Optifine fixes this in the 1.8 versions (the visual glitching, anyways) and in 1.9 snapshots I easily get ~80 FPS with everything set as high/slow/fancy as it goes except render distance (I hate having a huge render distance if I really don't need it, so I stick with 3 anyways).

Sycholic, I was honestly more worried about what it meant than "This needs to be fixed." If I could fix it myself, I would. I get this all the time on my really bad computer, and I've seen people running full-on servers and playing Minecraft at the same time without ever seeing this error. If you have another computer that is older/newer/handles gaming differently, have you tested that to see if the errors are more or less frequent?

I get this with a render distance of 3 while getting ~5 FPS (which is actually good for my computer) in 1.8 (spams my game output every few minutes or so with three or four of these) and occasionally in 1.7 I get 1 or 2 of these.

Usual 1.7 settings: Render Distance 3-4, Fast graphics, Particles decreased/minimal, smooth lighting minimal. Average of about 75 FPS.
Usual 1.8 settings: Render Distance 2-3, Fast graphics, particles minimal, smooth lighting off, VBOs off (otherwise Java makes minidumps every time I load a world). Average of between 0-5 FPS, occasionally I can get up to about 20.

Yeah, my computer is weird.

Confirmed for Windows Vista as well. I have video footage (although my voice was quiet and there is a TV in the background, I feel as though there is enough shown). I do not know how to upload a file though.

When you throw harming potions at undead creatures, they are actually healed. To deal damage using potions on undead creatures, you need to use a healing or poison potion.

@Ali M I think so (I'm not hosting it myself, but I think a restart button would do it, unless my internet dropped at that moment, which is highly possible, considering it has dropped twice while I was typing this...)
I'll try it again in the morning (its late at night and my computer's off)

@Ali M I think the server's just having issues with the levitation thing (fly is enabled because my internet is strange and I often get kicked for flying while randomly exploring, so I usually keep it on). There's a lot of people having the same issue (and I would think at least a few people would've tried the allow-flight=true besides me).
It is the first snapshot so its kind of expected that there are a few bugs, at least to me. I'm used to it.

I still use the old launcher because my computer detects the new launcher files as viruses 😛 I didn't know that

I can confirm that this does not happen on Windows Vista...

Maybe try Java 7? Worse case scenario you just reinstall Java 8

That's quite odd. I heard somewhere that the Ender Dragon doesn't intentionally hit anything, but I've never heard of it actually avoiding things.

Maybe it's avoiding the obsidian?

Some people can connect but get kicked when they have the levitation effect.
If you have access to it, post your console log here (or at least any errors that occur in the server console at the approximate time of join).

I had the dragon but no dungeon. Maybe it's not quite 100% implemented yet?
Also, check your render distance. Mine was at 3 and I spent about 10 minutes looking for the ender dragon (in F1 mode because of pumpkins). I realized how dumb I was when I thought I was falling into the void but my render distance was just that low. xD

I can see where they came from with the potions thing, but I agree. I think it's mainly for differentiating for us people who like to play the snapshots as soon as we can right now (I don't know for sure, it could be intended).

Honestly, it would make more sense for it to be "Arrow of insert potion here" or even "Potion of potion-tipped arrow," but I can live with it. It's not like the textures are all the same.

Have you tried reloading chunks (F3 + A)? Sometimes that fixes rendering issues.

Two-block grass is supposed to yield seeds? When did that happen? I hardly ever get seeds, whether breaking the top or bottom....

If you drink anything in third person, it has no animation. This goes for potions, water bottles, and milk. I believe there is also no eating animation, but I could be mistaken.

The lag is probably from all the new updates that came out. If I could see the debug screen without Optifine, I'd be willing to bet a hundred bucks it's at 0 or lower constantly because of frames. I can't confirm the item frames, however. It may have been a world problem.

While this is totally awesome, I have to say it didn't work for me. It could be one of two thing for me:
1) I don't have Twitch, and
2) I have a super old graphics card that's not supported.
