Even if it is a Buddhist swastika, most people will not consider it as one. Most people see it as a Nazi swastika, even if it is facing the wrong way.
Also, the doors contain swastikas of both directions.
The bug itself is the inconsistency, so when 1.16.5 came out, this wasn't a bug. However, nothing has changed except the addition of the raw versions of the ingot ores (in respect to this issue specifically), so this enters a gray area of it being a bug or not in 1.16.5.
With that said, it shouldn't be said it affects 1.16.5. The actual bug should be that "Raw ores comes before their ingots" instead of "Netherite scrap comes after netherite ingot," since netherite came first, setting the status quo.
Ah, there's precedent for this being considered a bug. I'll back down then, sorry for the trouble!
It doesn't change the fact that this is invalid. Again, this is naturally emerging behavior that forms a weird coincidence, and has no bearing on artistic or gameplay problems. Besides, a*ny* texture could form a swastika if you tried hard enough.
Let's not get too deep into wording, because you knew what I meant by "you want." And even then, your counterargument implies making mistakes is a bug, since you don't really try to make mistakes, they just happen.
Not a bug. This is naturally emerging symbol, and although it creates a hateful symbol in most cultures, it is comparable to building a swastika with blocks.
In essence, if this is a bug, then the ability to create anything you want is also a bug.
This should be marked as Invalid.
You should submit issues with the launcher here, in the MCL project. No idea why it isn't linked on the homepage, though.
The thread linked above will soon be archived, as it will soon be 6 months old. I've created a proactive reddit thread so when the thread is inevitably archived, people can still comment their gripes without clogging up the comment section.
Is it a server, or is it a realm?
You should attach a separate screenshot of the F3 debug screen in that case. The video will still be helpful even without one, but please do attach a separate screenshot with the debug screen.
EDIT: Also, please make sure that the server you are testing on is unmodified in any way!
This also happens on my end.
I checked your skin via a skin stealer, and it appears that your skin is entirely black. Something is wrong with your skin.
That's because you remain at the same Y axis.
Another solution is to have a slightly different animation for crouching while flying, one that doesn't have you sink into the ground and doesn't change the eye height as much.
edit: added a few words.
Confirmed for 19w12a
I have been watching the squids for a bit, and while it is not currently confirmed for 19w12a, the core of the issue is that the squids sometimes hop out of the water. They are able to make a few splashes.
This was done in a small, square lake (4x9).
edit: Slabs cause the issue to appear rather quickly, even if you spawn the squid in 1 block deep water. Also, some visual changes to this comment.
The fact that this bug is not only confirmed, but also that the fact that MC-197561, a very similar bug, has been resolved as fixed, means that this is an issue.
It isn't so much you can build swastikas in Minecraft, but rather, the fact that you can make them accidentally while doing something else.
