I hate this bug so much i just want to play with my friends

same issue, some stuff I found:

build IDs differ on the bedrock server binary, and on the IOS client, not sure if thats meant to be but it is:

bedrock server binary:

Version: 1.21.101.1

Session ID: c16ed244-0e33-4f1f-8298-7627b0372616

Build ID: 36025742

Branch: r/21_u10

Client:

Version: v1.21.101

Build: 36025726
Branch: r/21_u10
Protocol version: 827

I cant update ether anymore as there are both at there latest reaslese as of now

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Log into a Microsoft account that has purchased Minecraft

  1. Visit the Xbox Privacy and Safety settings and confirm your settings are set to allow online play

  2. Confirm you are not a member of a Microsoft Family at https://account.microsoft.com/family/home

  3. Log out and back into the Minecraft Launcher to ensure the game has your most updated settings

  4. Launch the game on the latest version, notice that even though you turned on online play your account does not allow online play.

Note: the status of the Multiplayer button in game and the authentication server’s willingness to let you into online games are determined by the response of the api.minecraftservices.com/player/attributes endpoint when logged in. Even though my account has all online play allowed and is not in a Microsoft Family, the API is saying I cannot play multiplayer due to my Microsoft account settings. The bug in this ticket is that even with all the correct settings set the online Minecraft account services are not returning the correct value and are thus not letting my account play on multiplayer servers.

Issue still persists in Xbox Series X. This all started after an update in mid May. Mojang should make a way to easily export your worlds for backups.

I tried realms, but it gives says “unknown error” once the upload completes.

Sorry for leaving the error message out.

It says “Local save successful but cloud sync failed due to quota. Free cloud space by deleting worlds from the settings menu”. However, I don't have any additional words to delete. I did temporarily create another world and it saved fine.

Any update on this issue? It has been a month.

@MrMuskle @[Mod] violine1101
I was using TLauncher. It forced me to re-downloaded the snapshot, and after that everything works fine - the disc plays now!

Thank you for your help.

No, I don’t.

As you can see in the video, other discs work, but specifically this one doesn’t 🤷‍♀️

Same here on Series X.

My wife and I never use add ones on our survival world and the game crashes when I try to create a new world without any add ons activated.

@dom thanks for confirming. I just didn't want to take any unnecessary risks. This really sucks. I have Minecraft on my PC, but we primarily play on the Xbox.

Has anyone tried reinstalling on Xbox? I just don't want to lose my wife and I’s world we've been playing in for the last 2 years. I realize that it should be backed up in the cloud, but I have reservations.

Exact same thing happened to me on Xbox and has happened in both my profile and my sins profile.

No, that ticket doesn’t capture the issue. That ticket is describing expected behavior - locking multiplayer behing a paywall seems intentional.

This ticket is about the fact that you’re blocking single-player users from updating their worlds to be single-player.

That ticket: I can’t play multiplayer worlds
This ticket: I can’t change my world settings.

The /player/attributes endpoint returns the status about the currently logged in account, you would have to be logged in as the listed user to see the issue. I am not aware of an endpoint that lets you see this data for other people’s account.
