Can Confirm; I have no idea why this has been happening for so long. Until this bug is fixed, I'll be using .png files for my skins.
Edit: I just got tired of switching the skin slot every time I used a different device and decided to accept the skins as they are. Until this is over, i'll try my best to ignore it.
Another Edit: I realized the default eye and hair colors are orange and blue, so for some reason, the skin colors are switching to the default avatar colors.
If a Mojang developer is seeing this, they should know that this is an actual issue that a handful of people are having.
Edit #3: Another update; this seems to take effect on Android and Nintendo Switch, but not Windows from what I can tell.
Edit #4: This DOES seem to affect multiple devices. Multiple reports show this same issue on iOS, Android, Windows, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Xbox. For me, this issue occurred on Android but not Windows, so the consistency of this issue may vary from device to device. Because different devices are reported to have this bug, I think it may be a deeper-rooted issue that isn't directly related to the devices themselves. Some other possibilities worth checking are if it happens on specific types of hardware or operating system versions.
I observed the sniffer behavior, and it seems like if one or both of the sniffers smell a seed, it stops the breeding process which is why it doesn't happen with other mobs. And yes, it also happens in 1.19.4 pre 3.
Can confirm on 1.19.3. I run a paper server on Aternos and it had the normal Aternos icon small, except the back texture was a mob texture folded out like you usually see in the texture files (likely a camel, horse, donkey or mule) layed out like the pictures above. I joined the server and the camel texture broke (I had 1.20 and bundles datapacks on and it was still bugged when opening a local world with said datapacks). Restarting the game returned both the server icon and camel texture to normal.

Update; fixed in 24w34a
Can confirm; checked the bug just now
You do have to try a few times, but once it's in the proper resolution, everything should go smoothly.
For those that are especially annoyed by this bug, you can press F12 twice rapidly and see if that works. (It worked for me)
I have the same issue. My post is MCPE-180991
Mine does describe it as a slightly lower resolution, but I also saw some other glitches you pointed out.
And yes I use an RTX card and have a 4K 2160p monitor.
Thanks for the comment. I didn't know that was required, so it must've appeared in a snapshot without my knowledge.
Still confirmed on 1.19.4
I can confirm too, still happens on 23w14a and discovered it when accidentally pushing a sniffer.

Edit: This may end up resulting as "cannot reproduce" because it's back to normal now.
I attached the launcher log to the attachments in case that helps. (Note: I use OptiFine)
I spent all day trying to fix this and nothing helped.
Ok. I understand most of it at least. I hope it gets fixed soon.
Also, before anyone asks, I have cheats on.
