The dpad shrunk on iPad 3 as well. It's still playable, but the buttons are pretty small. DPI is not the problem, because on the 800x600 Craig tablet, the whole dpad is barely taller than the hotbar, but on my 2048x1536 iPad 3, it's more than twice as tall.
When you use a bucket, it automatically updates the block after placing the liquid. Lava buckets function perfectly fine on my iPad 3.
Confirmed. Text encoding issue, perhaps?
Confirmed.
Confirmed.
The hotbar is part of the GUI (graphical user interface). Therefore, no GUI = no hotbar.
I just created a new Creative world and a new Survival one, and the Survival one generated two chickens right in front of spawn. The Creative one however, did not spawn any mobs. I'm not sure if this is a bug or not.
The problem isn't that it's disappearing, the problem is that it's not dropping the item when it does.
Last I checked, Adventure Mode didn't exist in Pocket Edition. Are you sure you're on the right bug tracker?
Don, PC Edition was done the same way. If you don't like playing an alpha version, don't play it. But don't bash on the Mojang team. Making a mobile app this complex takes a lot of work, especially with so many devices to support.
What do block updates have to do with buckets being hard to add? All the water and lava physics are already there.
Theres still a lot of basic features they need to add before they worry about enchanting. They haven't even added buckets, which severely limits what you can do with water.
I created a world in 0.6.1 and didn't play it for a week or so. I started the world today and it was night, so I went out to kill some mobs with my new diamond sword. However, even after exploring all night, no mobs had spawned. I deleted the world and created a new one, and mobs spawned normally at night.
Confirmed, but not sure if it's a bug.
No. I just tested all three in 0.6.1 on an iPad 3 iOS 6.1, and it worked fine. Are you sure you updated? It should say "Alpha 0.6.1" at the top of the main menu when you first start the app.
If it works in PC but not PE, it's probably a bug.
Confirmed on iPad 3 iOS 6.1.
Yes, but the extra buttons are only supposed to appear when you're moving forward. Also affects iPad 3 iOS 6.1.
That may have been intentional, seeing as there are no enchantments in PE yet. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't want to spend 10 seconds on every block of obsidian I try to mine.
It seems to be an occasional bug. Sometimes it works for me, sometimes I get the white box. I haven't managed to figure out exactly what event causes the bug to appear.
