MC-35856 is not a duplicate of this, it doesn't matter what the mods say, it is different.
I actually think that's supposed to happen. They did say there would be new minecart and boat mechanics in 1.6.
That's actually SUPPOSED to happen. It's not a glitch.
I kinda like the stair-bouncing. Could it be used as a little conveyor belt...?
What are you doing to dismount? The new dismount is L-Shift. I got freaked out by this at first, as well.
Never mind, I deleted the world. It likely came from a bad hard drive defrag. And to answer your question, I use the icon on my desktop, minecraft.exe. It runs fine now, I might want to delete this post, if I can...
Part of MC-3766 does occur in my corrupted world. I really worked hard on the thing and don't have MC edit to move it around from world to world. The intense lag and slow ticks occur. Crashing, however, doesn't occur, making it a non-duplicate of that. This is a quite unique issue as far as I've seen posted. Anyway, where is the minecraft.exe shortcut or file?
Nope, still didn't run. What to do?!
And that didn't work so I'm putting it in "bin". After that if that doesn't work I'll put in minecraft.jar or a folder that looks nice.
It isn't working, clicking on minecraft.bat, since it's not anywhere NEAR the minecraft.exe. I'm putting it in .minecraft to see if that helps. I can always remove it if it causes trouble.
The notepad file? While the launcher is open? Or is it like a file or something?
P.S. The saving of the .bat file did work. Instead of being saved as "minecraft.bat", it got saved as just "minecraft". Good sign, right?
I do it through the default launcher with the update logs and stuff.
So is minecraft.exe just the launcher? Then where is the file?
Is minecraft.exe the same as .minecraft, minecraft.jar, or something different? Where would I find it if it's something different?
Just one thing - where's minecraft.bat?
This happens for me, too, only in book and quill. On Misa Realistic pack 1.5.2, when I write a book, and go to the bottom of the page, it's fine. Then when I switch to default texture - or Disco's OCD pack 1.5 - the text goes off the bottom of the page. It's something I'll just have to get around, it's really no big deal.
That happened in the same world I had tick problems in. Just wait for about 30 seconds. Then fiddle with the settings a little. That's what I did, and the world loaded eventually.
Nope, I read that post (MC-1291), and it's not a duplicate. It's quite a different issue. They talked about players becoming invisible after disembarking a cart. I'm talking about players glitching around all over the place UNTIL they disembark. MC-13208 is more like it, except it doesn't quite cover everything.
How to do that, exactly? And there isn't ever an error message. It's just a problem, and Minecraft doesn't detect it.
Not necessarily a duplicate; the tick slowing isn't mentioned in the other ones, or the unusually low framerate, or the player glitching. I think it's at least partially fixed but I'm not sure.
In the chest is a written book. Read it and follow the instructions. Observe the boat bug.
