I have three of his llamas in two different spots and they haven't despawned even though the trader himself has appeared again several times
I have two of the trader's llamas in my animal pen at my new village base and one more in the old location. Can't use them as packbeasts, though, so they're just there to stop them wandering around and getting in the way. I'm on Xbox One
Still an issue in 1.11.3. I have done over two hundred trades and have more than three full stacks of emeralds (and traded back almost as many to buy items, level up villagers, and unlock new trades) and yet the progress bar still reads 0%
Does this achievement take into account trades in older worlds? Or just trades made after the achievement was added?
I traded several times with the villagers in my new world and this achievement is stuck at 0%
I recorded it crashing:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MF_Qcr11-Aw
I cannot enter any of my worlds. I cannot join my friends' worlds. Any time I try to play, the game crashes. This has been happening since the 1.11.2 update.
FIX IT!
Ocelots do not tame into cats anymore. You can earn their trust but they won't follow you because they're not really tame
We've been asking them that since the issue first cropped up and they've been saying they don't think it's possible to "retroactively" fix the broken spawners.
Will the fix at least prevent other spawners from breaking? I re-found two more in my immediate area that I could develop but I'd like to know if they will or won't break on me, too. I can't re-sync my world without losing 11 months' worth of progress, much of which it will be impossible to get back.
Make it so the fix will prevent other spawners from breaking? I re-found two more in my immediate area that I'd lit up and forgotten about when I first made my main world (one spider, one skelly) and I would like to be able to develop one into a new XP grinder to replace my broken zombie grinder. But not if they're going to immediately break, too
Hey, Mojang people, this is a duplicate of my bug report, not vice versa.
Yeah, this achievement is broken. It makes for an easy 20 gamerscore, but it's not supposed to pop that easily. I ate exactly two pieces of kelp within an in-game hour and it popped. That's far short of the three days it should take.
It's not just your realms. It's definitely NOT a feature. It is a bug, and it's been happening to every world converted from the Xbox One edition since Bedrock launched. We've been yelling at them to fix it since last September. My fear is that they've ignored it for so long any fix would require many of us to roll back months and months of work in order to get our spawners working again.
If your realm is a recent sync, you can re-sync it but disable all spawner grinders and dungeons you want to keep with light before switching off peaceful. If they're not active hopefully they won't break; I recently rediscovered a spider dungeon and a skeleton dungeon I'd lit up and forgotten about, and the spawners look to be fine. I'm not going to test them until a fix comes out, though.
If your world was created in Bedrock, not synced, then I dunno. But it's still a bug and should have been fixed months ago because it's one of the biggest game-breakers I know of
I noticed this while bonemealing the bottom of the river next to my base. I click once and it uses two, three bone meal instead of just the one. Real waste of bone meal. Especially now that farming bones is damn near impossible with the broken spawners in converted worlds and spawning in general completely screwed up.
Same. Was standing on top of a shipwreck with mobs turned on for two in-game days and not a single one spawned. I saw two skeletons and a spider on a small sand island, but nothing else.
Also an Xbox One player
Drowned aren't spawning in my world either, on Xbox One
Feature, not bug. The pumpkin got a new faceless skin. I rather like it... It always looked weird to me to have pumpkins growing with faces already on them
@Jonathan Hanzel Did you not see where I said we were both in the latest version? Our Xboxes are set to update automatically when a new update comes out so yes, we are on the same version. We checked. But it still will not let us join each other's worlds
If there is an option to join some beta, neither of us clicked it. We don't want to play in a buggy as hell thing until it's official release and stable. And Mojang fixes all the spawners they broke. We just want to be able to play together.
My friend and I are having this issue, too. We wanted to do a Wither fight so he could get the achievements but he couldn't join my world due to "outdated server". Both of us have our xboxes set to auto-update so we get every new update when it comes out. We're both on the same version. And yet he still can't join my worlds.
Fix it, Mojang
After level 30 it also takes more EXP to go from level to level, so that may have eaten up some of it, too
Do you have cheats on? Apparently turning fire tick off or disabling tnt explosions counts as cheating. Check the settings menu and see if the "allow cheats" is turned on. Turn it off and you should be fine.
I got that message, too, but I had explosions disabled after getting killed by an exploding ender crystal during the dragon fight for the fifth time in a row. Took me quite a while and a great deal of swearing to figure that out.
Yeah, I found that out the hard way after over 200 trades. Why give us the new trade system and then force us to use the old clunky way if we want to get the achievement?
