I am experiencing the same issue in my Windows 10 bedrock survival world. World was started and issue first experienced in Bedrock release 1.20.32. The issue continues in 1.20.40. With the first occurence, two players were in the world. Only the host continued to see rain after sleeping. The second player had clear skies at the same time. The rain has cleared each time after reloading the world so far. This is a survival only world, so no cheats have been attempted or enabled. The only default game setting changed is 'firespread' off.
I am having the same issue. I've slept for three consecutive nights and the rain never ends. World was created soon after the 1.18 update, but the issue is new.
Confirmed the issue occurs on both single player worlds and multiplayer servers
Update: Deleted character and "Edit character" is selectable again. Suppose something corrupted with created character. If I get time to waste I'll create another, but doubtful.
Save and quit crash also occurs on xbox. A lot. Version 1.12.
It's not fixed
Achievements not working properly in normal survival worlds, also. I completed the achievement for Master Trader with no issue, but for the 1000 emerald achievement, it seems to be stuck at 18%. After trading for over 300 emeralds in each of two trading sessions (600+ emeralds aquired), it remains at 18%. I had completed two other similar sessions prior, and have obtained over 1200 emeralds. All sessions done in the same survival world in which Master Trader was obtained.
My issue has been resolved. Captain wandered into a cave.
Both of our worlds are played in Hard Survival. Seed 320439, outpost at around -2000, 3000.
I did see pillagers spawn outside of the outpost in the daytime. Captains spawn in Bedrock. One spawned in two of my wife's worlds, and we both play bedrock.
Captains are not spawning properly. My wife and I are each playing separate single player worlds using the same seed. We went to the same outpost on our respective worlds. A captain did not spawn at my outpost, but did at hers. I loaded a backup of my world with the same results.
I've had this happen multiple times on Xbox bedrock edition. You spawn in high in the sky and plummet to your death, spraying items all over spawn. Just happened again and lost 80 levels. I covered spawn in slime blocks so maybe the next time it can be fun instead of stopping to play Cities Skylines. After 9 years you'd think Mojang could bring you into your world without killing you.
My world (84MB) will not load with ChromaHills enabled. Loads ok with default textures.
I can get villagers to breed by trading, but they will not pick up food. Playing survival in a world created in bedrock edition. New born villagers after becoming adults, converted zombie villagers, or naturally spawning villagers won't pick up food.
I cannot convert my world, either. Usually crashes Minecraft at 3%. Made it to 86% once, and it froze the console after crashing Minecraft. I have Beta, but when I highlight the world and press Y to upload it as instructed above, nothing happens.
I cannot convert my old world, either. When I try, it will start, but then Minecraft crashes. On occasion, the XBox freezes, forcing a hard reboot. I have Beta, but when I highlight the old world and press 'Y' to upload as suggested, nothing happens, just a 'click' sound. It typically crashes at 3% upload. The last attempt went almost to 90%, but Minecraft crashed and the console froze.
