Seems to only affect realms. downloading backups from before the game updated to 1.19.30 seems to fix the issue but the worlds break as soon as they are uploaded to the realm. updating the map also fixes the issue, but not with locked maps. I'm assuming that it's to do with the way map data is stored as it seems to affect locked maps built in the same place (common with map art, 1000s of hours work gone)

I had a map show a slice of the world rather than the top most block so it could be rendering the wrong layers and perhaps void?

I belive it has something to do with RTX cards and/or DX 12. I get worse fps on my rtx 3060 (ray tracing disabled) than I did when I played on intergrated graphics on an old 2011 era i5 with shaders, when they were still suported. It's not a small difference either. My laggy base runs 35 fps average and my old pc ran 54. Render distance is the same as I was playing on realms and I havent done much to impact the lag.
It's just a guess but it may be something to do with the move to DX 12 as my old machine couldn't run it. If anyone knows a way to force the game to use DX 11 please let me know. I'd like to test the framerate using both backends just to see what's best and if it's the cause.

I wear maxed out netherite boots and leggings (prot 4) and a turtle shell helmet (also prot 4) but no chestplate as I use elytra. A common armour set that balances defence with mobility for building. I die in like 3 hits to a zombie on hard and have to rely on totems. I know protection was nerfed recently but it's like it's not even there.

The word "blade" wont work in an anvil when renaming any item (but it's used a lot in sword names)

kind of dumb on a multiplayer server full of adults to force us to use buggy censorship. please let us turn this off in the options.

It's because /difficulty isn't a gamerule command even tho it should be. Just checked and it's the only one that acts like this (not sure about respawn radius as I've forgotten the command for it). I'd class it as a bug because it contradicts the settings. I'm not sure if it acts the same way in java but from memory I think it's the same there.

this also affects black dye being called inc sacs (even when crafted using a wither rose), blue dye being called lapis lazuli and brown dye being called cocoa beans.

also affects name tags. doesn't happen with rtx on.

This still affects the current version of bedrock and java. This also affects pocket edition quite severely on bluestacks (android emulator for pc, some people play so they can have shaders on bedrock or want to play on a mac) and some mobile devices although I dont know which. Instead of a fraction of a pixel the entire texture is moved over by one pixel.

have you made sure they arnt mules? mules are like horses but cant breed. hope this helps.

try digging around a bit. the eye of ender doesn't go right to the portal and sometimes ends up in a wall.
