Does the issue still occur if you disable your texture pack?

Issue can be reproduced with no resource packs.

The banner's flag also doesn't render behind slimes, which leaves only the wooden post rendered, There's a chance that this is caused by the same rendering error though.

I cannot reproduce this with any color banners

when i place a banner behind transparent object it stays the same

More likely fixed for nintendo Switch

Platform not reproduce:

  • Nintendo Switch

@DaHangZiBCD There is no need to add comments like these, as they only create clutter and make it harder for the developers to find important information. Comments like these on adding affected versions should only be requested on the Mojira Discord.

Is there going to be any movement on this any time soon? It's minor sure, but it's been in the backlog for a looooong time and is an issue that negatively effects immersion and can be jarring when not expected.

i know how to fix it :

  1. Copy the entity.material to any addon and paste it in "materials" folders

  2. Search " "banner" " in entity.material

  3. Add " "DISABLE_TINTING" " in "+defines"

  4. Save and try it out

or download this and install it in your minecraft

But i found a bug again, any banner except illager banner is not visible 😞

This also affects slime blocks also.
