Hello, @Psyionysus. We are referring to iOS and iPadOS systems, not the Switch System.
Realms was working around 8:00~9:30am EST and stopped working until 12:00pm. As of current, only I am able to see the Realm server (as a member, not owner) and the owner of the Realm is still unable to view the Realm server. I can't be sure if this is an internet connectivity issue, but Realms is currently working for me. The game crashes when I open Realms Stories.
Additionally, the game prompts the player to opt-in to use Realms Stories even after already accepting the prompt prior. This may be directly related to the Realms issue!
Hello, this is a duplicate of MCPE-185254!
Yes, this occurs on iOS and iPadOS. Many other games support the 'Minus Button,' but for some reason Minecraft cannot. The Controller Hints are also swapped, as you stated.
reload Minecraft. this is not a bug
This also affects slime blocks also.
This was fixed for me this morning (8:43AM), and is working as expected. The only thing that didn't load was the user timeline from yesterday. I can't be sure of other players, though. To verify, I have tested this on numerous accounts that are on the server, including my friends.

Woohoo!
Can confirm. Our home WiFi (under Eero) causes issues with ad-blockers on certain websites and apps across many platforms (not only iOS). The crashing of Minecraft is only on iOS/iPadOS, though. Through testing, I was able to conclude that other platforms like the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation, and Windows (Win11, most likely Win10 also) do not have these crashing issues on the WiFi network. It is best to have another WiFi connection provided by a different service provider to avoid issues relating to this (unwanted ad-blocking, site & app blocking, and etc.).
The issue still persists on v1.20.71.
[media]This relates to (if not, a duplicate) of MCPE-179688. The reason why you cannot install version 1.20.70 is because of a data loss bug that occurs when upgrading (MCPE-174716). The issue is still being tracked and hasn't been fixed yet, so till then, you will not be able to upgrade to 1.20.70 (as of Saturday, March 16 [EST]).
Can confirm.
This is also a recurring issue for me as well. I am on iPadOS 17.4 on an iPad 10th Generation. The game crashes upon exiting a world (which I have on video attached below) or entering a world (crashes in 15~25 seconds typically). Windows 11 has no issues relating to this, so this may be an OS-specific bug. Also something to note: loading times are incredibly long at times and there are many lag spikes while playing on Minecraft.
Steps to reproduce:
Open Minecraft on an iPad (on software iPadOS 17.4, updated).
Load into a world
Stay in the world (move around and perform actions, if needed. may crash the game)
Exit the world (crashes the game)
Observed results:
The game crashes in the first 30 seconds of loading into the world. The game also crashes when leaving the world.
Expected results:
The player should be able to play the game without any crashing issues as previous versions never had this issue.

Is this still not fixed? This is honestly disappointing.
