Comments

It doesn't happen often in 1.19.1 but I was able to reproduce it at:

Seed = -1181759517411332367

/execute in minecraft:overworld run tp @s -3375.47 67.07 53.30 174.74 30.30

After the resolution of MC-249423, this can't be reproduced.

Can confirm it needs to be reopened wrt capitalization of "cake"

I'm unsure whether I'm doing something wrong or if the Bee Nests spawn randomly each time as I'm unable to use these coords myself. In case they are random, this issue can be reproduced by using fill command over a large area in mangrove biome to clear leaves 1 layer at a time and observing the results.

The issue desribed in that ticket is not the same because that dealt with world crashing while opening a world. In my case the game doesn't even start. Only the error code is similar
Are you referring to the comment stating that it is a technical issue, please specify?

MC-138887 doesn't directly talks about anvil regions or quadrants but the comments do. So, I agree that this could be marked as the duplicate of that.

Also, I thought this was only a result of 1.18.2 Pre-1 as I couldn't reproduce it in one world in 22w07a. But with the same seeds I was able to reproduce it in earlier versions as well, so I apologize for that confusion.

The broad issue seems to be fixed in 1.18.2 Pre-Release 3 but I have found that the command is locating the closest structure in a particular quadrant(used in geometrical sense and not in the sense of a 368*368 area) and not the actual closest structure. Check the screenshots dated 24-02-2022.

Whether this needs to be reopened or should I create a seperate ticket?

Can confirm in 1.18.2 Pre- Release 2

Can confirm in 1.18.2 Pre Release-2

I don't think this is an exact duplicate of that issue because the command works properly in 22w05a but doesn't work in 22w06a for the same seeds. I feel this issue is specific to flat words.

Can confirm it still kills the parrot if you look almost straight downwards while doing what Avoma stated. This bug should be reopened.

I have had a weird discovery. I was testing this by creating a new village (by spawning Villager through spawn eggs) and that is when the raid comes to a defeat when the adult villagers die but in naturally generated villager, the raid still continues even when all adult villagers die.

So, can confirm for Release Candidate 4, at least in the case of naturally generated villages.

This seems to be fixed in 1.18 Pre Release 8.

If I had to guess, this is probably as a result of fixing of MC-236783

Can confirm that in the snapshots(21w44a) it was a per block check instead of the whole chunk checks.

I think that happened because you might have used Automatic check for updates option. You need to Select [Browse my Computer for Drivers] and then [Let me pick from a list of available  drivers] and install the corresponding drivers for all the devices one by one. Check this video for clarification.

The problem behind it might be similar but I think they should be kept separate tickets.

I would like to report that I have found a fix for this.  Windows for some reason is not using the drivers properly. You just need to reinstall them, follow the steps from the screenshots attached for all the audio devices in the Sound, Video and game controllers tab, and restart your PC. (Choose Browse my PC instead of Automatic one and choose Let me Pick from existing ones)

Additionally, I would request the mods to mark this as invalid as it is not a Minecraft bug.
