This is not resolved, it's still happening in 1.20.40

It's random when it happens, or at least appears to be. I play on PC so can't easily record the last few seconds - I don't currently have a video but I can start recording trips to the end to see if it happens. 

 

It's not a common issue, but it is a recurring one. 

This is still affecting us in 1.17.34 on Realms

This is still happening. I am not sure "resolved by community consensus" is accurate. 

Same Here! Right click the launcher, and click Properties, then compatibility. you should see run in compatibility mode for. click the box and click windows vista.

Try it mulitple times, should work then, please email me back if its succesfull or not.

I just updated to 8.1 yesterday, and minecraft now has went to crap. wont load, wont open wont do anything! It was working great until i updated. I feel your pain!
