Can confirm for 1.21.10 and snapshot 25w43a

I can confirm. What op didn’t mention is that going through the Nether for the very first time in a world does play the portal travel sound while the dimension loads. However, every other time after that, the portal travel sound does not play until the dimension is fully loaded.

Provided attachment to show an example of me entering the Nether for the very first time on a superflat world.

Provided video attachments to show the difference.

This isn’t invalid. Should be reopened. Could also be considered a parity issue as Bedrock edition has the travel sound play as the world is loading in just like Java edition prior to 1.3.

Here’s an additional clip recorded in version 1.8.9 if that helps for you.
Like the others, download it for viewing in 60 fps.

Nevermind, if you download the clips, it will play at 60 fps, where the difference can be seen

I think it’s because the video was uploaded at 30 fps, even though all clips were recorded in 60 fps I’ll see if I can repost comparisons at 60 fps since it didn’t default to 60 fps here for some reason

Accidentally sent two of the same video. He’s the 4th intended video showing the mooshroom shearing particle as of 1.14
