I think it has been fixed since then, but I'm not sure. Haven't been able to reproduce it. Tried on local worlds and remote servers.

This bug has been here for 2 years and still hasn't been fixed, though the solution to fix it is to change the listing so that a Fire TV controller is not required, as it hasn't been supported since FireOS 5.0. Therefore, any Fire TV device that's running FireOS 6.0 or later shows Minecraft as "not compatible" on amazon.com and the listing isn't on the device's AppStore.
Reading the reviews would tell you this has been a problem since FireOS 6.0 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01NCJDPER/ref=mas_ya_dp
May also put a clip of me attempting to go to the listing on my 3rd gen Fire Stick

This is happening to me too, all but 4 non-nitwit villagers despawn if I stay in a village for too long.

Still Happens in 1.12.1.

Try signing out and resigning in. That worked for me on my Switch once.

Was it linked to an Xbox Live account? If so, check to see if it downloads and works on other devices

I have this problem on Xbox One

using /difficulty
other than that the only idea I have atm is going into the level.dat file and changing difficulties that way

Have you installed Visual C++ Redist. 2015? That could be the problem.

Can you upload a screenshot?

google "what is my ip" and it will tell you your public ip address

I have this problem when trying to play a world that I have on a current version that hasn't been played since 0.11.1. Doesn't matter if this version is a client looking at its local worlds (in the "games/com.mojang/" folder for the actual game) or as a server. I think it's just the way they changed the format levels are saved in 1.2.

I had the same issue until I set the port to 50000 instead of 19132

Have you tried right clicking on the .exe file and clicked "Run as Administrator"?
It is also possible that you need to turn off Windows Defender SmartScreen(for apps of course) because that could stop the server from running

Affected in 0.14.3 and 0.15.0 build 1

I had this before, fixed it by installing a texture pack and putting it off.

That was for 1.8 on PC, it was never that way on pocket edition

I was about to report this bug! It happens on my All-In-One HP Pavilion 23. Chat works fine on MCPE. It's a Win10 only bug. Keyboard not broken, typed on notepad and this.
