Minecart sounds do not show up in subtitles

How is this a duplicate if players clearly can't ride inside of hopper minecarts?

Because Minecarts don't seem to have a subtitle at all.

Exactly, so this shouldn't be considered a duplicate.

Please reopen this ticket instead of trying to merge it into a completely different, unrelated issue's ticket.

Cannot reproduce in 1.16pre1, playsound causes it to show up just fine.

Can confirm in 1.20.2. Also, the subtitle appears only when the minecart as placed, as noted in the first two duplicate bug reports.
