Minecart sounds are not being displayed when using subtitles. This is the case with hopper and regular minecarts for sure.

How is this a duplicate if players clearly can't ride inside of hopper minecarts?

Because Minecarts don't seem to have a subtitle at all.

Exactly, so this shouldn't be considered a duplicate.

Please reopen this ticket instead of trying to merge it into a completely different, unrelated issue's ticket.

Cannot reproduce in 1.16pre1, playsound causes it to show up just fine.
