The "turning" redstone texture becomes majorly distorted. Not a major issue, but is still rather unpleasant.

Yup, confirmed.

Getting this one too. Stairs texture is fine if you place them facing east though, reminds me of MC-61245.
I also found something out. Most the stairs glitch out when they are lighted... When it's dark, the stairs show up as normal.

The orientation is the key. Light level less.
Every direction except south and southeast west and northwest
I added a screenshot of the glitchy fences. (So, not only the gates)
West East is glitched as well, even at night. See the attachment; the front is east, the back is west. The front one faces west, and the back one faces east.
This is caused by uv-lock. Removing uv-lock and uv coordinates in the model file fixes the issue. There is currently a bug with non-uv texture projection however ( MC-66485 ).
Searge has acknowledged this on his twitter feed. I would wait for the next snapshot, either today or tomorrow, to see this fixed.

Why would it need to be hotfixed, it's just a visual bug.
It seems like as if the textures were from Sphax's BD Craft Texture Pack!
