[MCPE-114221] Craftable Furniture by Shapescape Crashing on Switch

I bought Craftable Furniture by Shapescape. I see the "loading resources" screen and the "generating world" screen and then receive the message, "The software was closed because an error occurred." All other resource packs load and do not present the error.

Do you have an ETA on when this may be fixed? I bought this for my child 4 days ago and am wondering whether to get a refund as he hasn't been able to play it. TIA.

Craftable furniture now appears to have disappeared altogether but my son has not received a refund. Please advise how to get his money refunded.

The pack is not currently available on Switch while the content creators look into some platform specific issues, however your purchased entitlements can be used on other Bedrock platforms where the content is available if you are signed in to your Microsoft account. Purchased this resource pack today and still causes the crash on the Switch

I have bought the resource pack today on my switch and it will not load and Crashes the game. I have done many suggestions before commenting including trying to join a friends game with this world.
Edit: I saw the pack was removed, will it be fixed to work on the switch or dropped entirely?

Thanks for mentioning that the pack was available again but still had the crashing issue. It was relisted again on Switch because it was thought that the crashing issue had been resolved - but evidently there is still more work to do to address the ongoing issues mentioned.

So once again, the pack is not available to purchase on Switch while the content creators look into the platform specific issues.

Your purchased entitlements can be used on other Bedrock platforms if you are signed in to your Microsoft account. If this is not an option for you or if you would like to discuss your the matter further, then please contact Minecraft Customer Support directly.

I contacted Minecraft Customer Support and they took ages to reply. They said they could not help with this issue and to contact Mojang. It seems we are going around in circles with this. I would think at this stage an automatic refund for anyone who has purchased this is on the Switch is in order! Not impressed at all.

I would like to add that on the switch you also can’t connect to friends worlds, with the craftable furniture. Tried to join a friend just to try another way and it still crashed.

Hello, I contacted the content creators of Shapescape. The opinion of Shapescape is that the bug is in the Switch edition of Minecraft:

I am grateful for the work of the content creators as well as the work of the platform creators. Having said that, I would appreciate if both parties take responsibility and together find out where the bug is.

Then hopefully our kids and we can finally enjoy Craftable Furniture on the nintendo switch 🙂

This is still not fixed on Nintendo Switch. It's pretty ridiculous this is still sold on the marketplace.
