Barrier Blocks affect lighting of adjacent blocks

The Bug
Barrier blocks affect adjacent blocks lighting. The effect is more noticeable if the block behind is of a lighter color

Steps to Reproduce

  • Give yourself a white block

  • Make a 3x3 wall using it

  • Place Barrier Blocks in front of them

I decided that I'd run a little experiment with the barriers and how they modify the shadows. It seems almost like the shadows are being rotated in a certain way that causes the odd look. Here's the images I had taken. I hope that these help.
