I am unsure for this to be a bug, correct me if I'm wrong but after transferring my Minecraft Switch Edition world to minecraft bedrock, also note it's not on the Mario Mash up or using a skin from the Mario Mash up, it will say, "Content active in this world cannot be used in cross-platform multiplayer." Nothing is activated, I'm using a default skin and default texture. If this is no bug and there is already a fix, please tell me?

Please check the Resource Packs section of your world settings. Is anything listed there?
Are you able to do cross play with a different world you've transferred from Switch Edition? What about a new world you created on the Bedrock version?
I am having this issue too, I am also unable to upload my world to my realm I paid for because of this... This has been going on since the beginning of the bedrock edition. On 1.7 right now with everything set to default
This issue still remains in 1.9. Though I'm happy toch report that we can backup out saves via the Nintendo Switch itself since 1.9. Meaning I do not need realms for a backup
You guys actually pulled it off! I had to convert my world from the previous build again, but it worked!! I just played cross platform with a friend of mine. Haven't tried realms yet i'd have to buy it to test it. But it works, thanks well done!
