MCPE-39539

In splitscreen multiplayer mode on Consoles, only the first player can see through water appropriately. All other players have opaque water and minimal visibility underwater

This affects every player beyond player one.  I have tried every combination of graphics settings without coming up with a solution.  It has rendered the aquatic features mostly unusable for additional players.

Same problem here, at first the second player was able to see under the water and outside of it but now its impossible

Exact same problem here, but we only started having the problem after the 1.8.0 update - prior versions worked just fine. We even tried creating a brand new world - had the same result. This bug makes playing Minecraft as a family in multi-player no longer viable.

This issue also seems to affect Nintendo Switch as described on: MCPE-39822.

I am also seeing this issue (for Nintendo Switch).

Same problem for me on xbox one with splitscreen since the last update. Everything worked perfectly on the previous version

As I expected, 1.10 still has this issue. Although I think it's going to be at least another few weeks before the 1.11 full release since I recently got a beta for 1.12

Fix resolves issues for me on Xbox One.

fix resolves issues for me on Nintendo Switch too

Closed as fixed in 1.11.

Thank you all for your input, effort and patience to help resolve this issue.
