Bedrock 1.16 - I don't know how many times I tried, for a couple of days, but it ended up working. I just alternated between reset world and replace, and it eventually went through.

I have been mostly happy since I switched from java to bedrock, and have ignored all of the hate from java players. But this bug and the lack of timely resolution are starting to make me think that there is a reason they call it "bugrock."
How can you leave a game-breaking bug active for so long?
This game is incredibly popular, and Microsoft has so much money. How is it that their response is worse than the average indie studio?

Agreed. I never would have expected that it would last this long.
Only visible official response is the closing of duplicate tickets.

I am seeing this in 1.15, Windows 10.
4 magma blocks at the bottom of a mob farm. Every mob dies, except for some baby zombies and baby drowned. They just stand there looking at me.

Same issue on Windows 10. Turtles are pregnant, do not lay eggs. Tested on survival, and then creative world with spawn eggs.

This also occurs if I start a fresh world in creative mode, and use a spawn egg to spawn the turtles.  Identical to the issue experienced in my survival world.  Same as the video in MCPE-53585. They just keep swimming in circles.

There are a lot of issues related to this, but this one seems to be the oldest one I can find that clearly describes the same problem that I am having.

I find two turtles, and feed them both sea grass. Hearts appear above their heads, I get an experience orb, and one of the turtles gets a bigger abdomen.

I follow the turtle with the bigger abdomen, and it always goes into the water and starts randomly swimming around. Swim forward for a bit, spin in circles, and repeat. I have followed this for up to 3 in-game days.

It seems like eventually they just despawn.
