I have only ever seen this in a realm, it may be that this is a bug that should be associated with the realms project rather than bedrock game code project. It may be helpful to list how you can know it if the rain your have on your device is not accuring on the realm. The main ones I have found useful are below.
Villagers go about there normal buisness during the day in the rain- that is they are not running around like the sky is fallin down.
Zombies burn in the rain during the day.
If you ask other people on the realm it is not raining for them.
Sleeping does not stop the rain.
Logging out and immediatly reloggin into the realm stops the rain - no need to restart the entire mincraft app or wait for the realm to stop/restart. Ok so this last one is also a work around... 🙂
how to get it to say it is still an issue with the latest build?Â

To duplicate: somehow get the Jump Boost effect (potion or beacon comes to mind), make some stairs using stair blocks (at leat 5 blocks high). Make sure auto jump is it to on. Walk up (no need to sprint) the stairs. Repeat without auto jump setting enabled. The differences should be obvious.
I'm playing version 1.16.201Â - and your right its only on stained glass bloks. Sorry
GLass blocks also have this behaviour. Can place fine but if falling onto them, it will always break.
I am seeing this bug ONLY with large boxes that are in two chunks.
I think this started in 1.16.100. - But with all the other bugs it introduced in 1.16.100 it was a little under the radar. On the other hand it may have started to occur because I built up the chunks, placing lots of glass blocks which will stress the system. I only play realms so this may behave differently with the game hosted on a personal device.
One half of a Large Box does not always load if one half of the box is placed in one chunk, and the other in a second. It feels like about 1 in ten chance, but not keeping a real good record. Accessing the box (when bugged) will often cause a crash of the game on my IPAD (which may be related to how full the box is), but not a crash of the realm. Work around is of course to not have boxes located in two chunks.
This can often be fixed by running far enough and coming back that the chunks to reload. Or doing anything else that causes the chunks to reload. However it can happen several times in a row.
To replicate probably the quickest, after placing the large box in two chunks build a portal and go in and out of the nether.Â
To visually see the bug easier place a item frame on each end of the box. If the half of the box it is attached to does not load you will have a item frame floating in the air not visually attached to anything. When it occurs this will not occur with just one box, but all boxes straddling the two chunks.Â

I also use observers for the same purpose and they still work fine.
Using apple Ipad 6th gen. Fully updated IOS, 1.13 bedrock.
I would argue that if it ain't like Java its more likely a bug then not.
This is the number one ANNOYING bug 1.13.0 introduced!
I've never wanted a quick way to toggle autojump so much. I tried to play without it entirely but thats also very annoying. So the old auto jump routine did not ALWAYS jump on blocks that you COULD jump on to - THIS IS MUCH WORSE!!! GO BACK or FIX!
I have also seen several spawns of creepers In my town ... where I have so lit up that for months i was not getting any spawn in the town.Â
If the spawn rules for creepers have changed in some way could someone please let us know what the new rules are?
One spawned ON a second floor on the outside of my main building in town on a balcony. that entire building is lit like a torch!
I'm having this issue on IPAD 6th generation IOS is up to date. Using bedrock 1.13.0 released.
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this as the bug says its bedrock but its dealing with version 14 beta?! Maybe I'll keep looking.
No other major bugs so far.
@Stefan I think whatever you do to decrease the amount of times/opportunity for the chunk they are in to load/unload decreases the chance they will despawn. One way to do that is keep them in a small area.
I have also had this issue, and would like to add tamed mules, and mine-carts (all types) to the list.
I have also the following observations:
The more entities you have the more often it occurs (ok this one might be obvious).Â
A disappearance is more likely to happen the more you leave and enter a chunk containing the entities.Â
errata- or one way to know its happening : When a villager with a profession disappears in this way I believe his work station becomes locked - no other villager will claim it like they will if he is killed or can't access it. You have to break the work station and place it again to get a new villager to claim it.
It may be the best way to observe this issue quickly is to use lots of mine carts because nothing in the game should destroy a unused mine cart sitting in an empty room. But it may happen more often with lots of different types of entitles in the same block, as that is the usual situation.
Have not seen a single patrol for my entire game Currently 1.12. I traveled 20,000 blocks (one way) To and back from a woodland mansion and not a single patrol.
My main base is not close to Village.
In IMG_009.png My avator is underwater and cannot open the chest by selecting the TOP of the chest. In IMG_0010.PNG MY avator is not underwater and I can open the chest by clicking the TOP of the chest.
In IMG_0011.PNG the item frame has been removed, my avatator is under the water and I can open the chest by clicking the TOP of the chest. In all cases teh chest and item frame (if applicable) is under water.
