Appears to be fixed for me with the 1.19.70 update.
Broken again with the release of the hot mess three days later.
I'm not getting the "Updating xxxxxxxxx of 1" popup with the absurdly high number, and haven't been getting it ever since uninstalling all of my packs but the two I'm currently using. But since most of my playtime these days is in Java, I haven't used Bedrock much.
The problem still persists with any and all resource packs purchased from the Marketplace, according to personal experience and the complaints of many of my Minecraft friends on Discord.
According to these same sources, this problem does NOT happen with non-Marketplace texture packs. I can confirm this with the only non-Marketplace pack I currently have installed: the John Smith Legacy Pack (Jim Stonecraft Edition). I can exit the game and the pack is still active when I restart.
What's old is new again. It's back with a vengeance ... again. My vote for following this issue is still active from years ago.
A new wrinkle in it this time is getting an update notice after selecting the texture pack, one that says initially "Updating 102990380 of 1" or something similar, a really long number of 1. It will stay this way for several seconds before reverting to "Updating 1 of 1".
The problem is that it keeps "updating" almost every time I restart the game, further delaying the game startup.
I've just deleted all my texture packs, and I'm only going to load the one I'm currently using to see if it's a problem with one specific pack.
We found three maps between -3000 2800 and -4000 3500, none close together, and all three maps were the same. Not only that, but no amount of movement in the indicated direction would move the marker. Eventually we found the treasure at -120 8, near our spawn area. Subsequently, we found two more maps in this spawn area, but they were identical to the ones we'd found thousands of blocks away.
This was in a realm.
And this is after the 1.16.1 hotfix today, by the way.
I'm getting horrendous loading times with Clear Craft. Worse, it has frozen my laptop no fewer than four times, twice having to close the game with Task Manager, twice having no choice but to unplug my laptop and remove the battery, which completely reset my game and required me to redo all my personalized settings.
The last freeze happened trying to access my skin menu, and I left my laptop for over ten minutes and it was still frozen trying to open the skins menu.
You should probably remove the pack from the marketplace until the creator fixes it.
Endermen aren't spawning anywhere in the overworld or in the nether (it's a brand new realm so no access to the End yet). There's a severe lack of ender pearls in our realm because no one ever sees any endermen. (version 1.14.6005)
The marketplace is currently not loading properly. My packs are still available, but my Minecoins are gone, my skins won't into my character slots (except for that one custom skin), and nothing will load in the marketplace item boxes. We can only trust they're working on it, unless they've gone full Bethesda.
The marketplace won't fully load, either, and my coins are not showing up,, so I suspect this is related to that.
The only skin I'm able to load it my custom Aragorn skin. I keep repeatedly getting messages for failing to load characters 1, 3, 4 and 5. Also, some of the skins available via the Realms Plus feature won't load into the selection menu; I just get the revolving loading symbol for each of them.
An interesting addendum/wrinkle: Prior to the last update, leaves mined with shears and with silk touch tools would not stack with each other. Now they do stack. I don't know which update or hotfix corrected this problem, as I just noticed it a few days ago.
This is also happening to one of my friends with her Egyptian pack.
I've had this problem only when using Chroma Hills. The menu items won't highlight when you select them. Since I'm playing on PC, I've had to use my mouse when changing texture packs as a workaround.
Those are missing textures in your texture pack. I don't know how to fix it, and I've only seen this in Java with a texture pack that hadn't been updated to include new stuff. (I reported it to the texture pack creator and he fixed it, but you can't do that on Bedrock since there's no way to correspond with content creators unless you find one yourself.)
Still getting error messages for both Eyptian and Norse texture packs in 1.13. The error messages don't appear until after the packs have been activated and applied. Also, the messages are a bit different than they were originally, and it's the same error in both packs (see attached photos):

I've had time since the 1.13 update to do a fair amount of enchanting, and I believe this issue has now been fixed. Please mark as Resolved, unless anyone here disagrees

Thank you for your patience and professionalism, and taking the time to respond. You're right about my habits: I use Fortune III for mining, and Silk Touch when I'm building, so this must be the cause of the anomalies (and my confusion, LOL).
You're also right in that it's better at this point to just use any workaround you can find (which I'm doing), rather than getting frustrated over something which might take a while to iron out. At the end of the day, it's not a game-breaking bug, so it's best to be patient and just play, trusting it will all be worked out eventually.
Slàinte!
Please close this as a duplicate of MCPE-55861. I've moved my comments to there and voted for that report.
Yes. it's fixed in the 1.20 update, but let's not start celebrating early. It was fixed in one of the last updates for a grand total of about three days before being broken again with the ensuing hotfix, or "hotmess" as I like to call it.
